Q. Hi, I have planned my mauritius tour on my own. I would like to know the expenses i would incurr for snorkelling, kayaking,parasailing other water sports in Mauritius. If i get an idea i could plan the amount i need to carry for adventure.

Q. is Liquid Force and CWB water sports company's good company's for quality and reliability? i am planning on buying a CWB Pure Wakeboard 140cm w/ Torq Bindings for $349.95 and i am also planning on buying a 2007 Liquid Force Watson Vest for $69.90 is this worth the money or are they just knock-off company's?

A. CWB is Connelly Skis, which is a reputable brand. Liquid Force is considered a better brand as well. I prefer Hyperlite myself. Check out evogear and grizzlysports on ebay for good deals and reliable sellers. grizzly accepts almost any reasonable offer, Up to 35% depending on the item. Another good site is boardersmall.com. For the best deals look for 07 closeouts. If you want a well known, but more expensive dealer, buywake.com is a good place to go.

This is one web site we looked into for rafting the Grand Cayon, but there are plenty others like it: We also kayaked the Colorado River twice out of Lake Havasu: Lake Mead (on the Nevada side) is another popular spot for water sports: Others have already mentioned Laughlin, Nevada. Also a great place along the Colorado River: Most likely, you will need to go through a company that guides you through the river at the Grand Canyon. I know they offer rentals for equipment, wet suits, etc. When we kayaked from Lake Havasu, we went through a company that provided us the kayak and shuttled us to the drop off spot. We were picked up 6 hours later, and we provided our own cooler and supplies. Have fun!
